November 18th, 2022: BioFreshCloud Symposium in Ankara
The Symposium of the BioFreshCloud (BFC) Project (supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 PRIMA Program) was held on November 18, 2022, at Ankara University in Türkiye.
In the first part of this Symposium, the BFC Project partners shared their studies which were based on developing an integrated, innovative, and eco-friendly approach to assess optimal shelf-life and minimize food losses of strawberries and tomatoes produced in the mediterranean region, by combining food bio-preservation technologies, food modeling, and Food Cloud tools.
In addition, national coordinators of some of the other agro-food-based PRIMA projects also shared info on their projects and experiences during the second part of this Symposium.
The Deputy Director of EU PRIMA Programs Dr. Omar Amawi and the Project Officer Dr. Mohamed Wageih also attended the Symposium.
Sidi Mohamed Bin Abdellah University faculty members, one of the Moroccan partners of the Biofreshcloud Project, Dr. Errachidi and Dr. El Ghadraoui published a scientific article covering their work within the scope of the project. Congratulations. Please click on this Link to read the publication.

On November 19th, the Biofreshcloud Project Internal Meeting was held at Ankara University in Türkiye. All Work Packages leaders shared the infos on their studies with the participants.
